Weston Hospicecare provides palliative care for people living with a life-limiting illness in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas as far afield as Highbridge, Burnham on Sea, Cheddar, Wedmore, Draycott, Yatton, Congresbury and Clevedon.
Our primary aim is to provide a quality of life that is pain free, where patients can be treated and cared for by loved ones in a place of their choice, be that here at the hospice or in their own home (which could include care homes).
All of the services we provide are totally free of charge, with only 21% of the £3.5 million a year running cost funded by the NHS. The rest is raised through our volunteers, shops and fundraising team, who all work tirelessly throughout the year to support patients and families.
